Meet Alice, the White Rabbit, the Mad Hatter, the Cheshire Cat the Caterpillar and their friends in the magical world of the walled garden. This beautifully crafted promenade performance brings this story to life for a modern audience whilst staying true to Carroll’s classic text.

ROSIE ABRAHAM – Alice
Trained: East 15
Rosie graduated in September 2013 and has since worked extensively on the stage with highlights including an all-female rendering of Churchill’s LIGHT SHINING IN BUCKINGHAMSHIRE, directed by Abbey Wright for the Cockpit Theatre, and playing the young Sally in SALLY, a piece of new writing, written and directed by Joyce Greenaway for the Arcola Theatre
Musical Theatre roles include: Millie in THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE, directed by Tom Carpenter for the Northcott Theatre, and Nancy in OLIVER!, directed by Ben Pollard for C Venues at the Edinburgh Festival.
CALEB FREDERICK – Cheshire Cat / Knave
Trained: LAMDA
Caleb graduated in July 2014

ANTHONY GLENNON – King of Hearts / Mock Turtle
Trained: Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts

MAX GOLD – Mad Hatter / Griffin
Trained: Royal Central School of Speech & Drama
Max has worked all over the world in theatre, film and TV, including world tours of King Lear, Midsummer Night’s Dream and the Taming of the Shrew with Renaissance Theatre company and the Cambridge Theatre Company.
Max recently played in Belongings for Gothenburg’s English Studio Theatre, and as Valmont in Les Liason Dangereuses for The English Theatre of Frankfurt.Three years at the Royal Shakespeare Company included the roles of Demetrius in The Dream and Paul Levine in Flight.
Other credits include: UKtheatre work has been The Tricycle, Shared experience, Birmingham Rep, Edinburgh Lyceum and Hammersmith Lyric.
TV and Film credits include:

LAUREN SILVER – White Rabbit / Dormouse
Trained: Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh
Lauren is an actress and musician from Liverpool. She has also trained in clowning and comedy with Philippe Gaulier and Spymonkey’s Aitor Basauri.
Credits include: Celia in As You Like Ish for Teasel Theatre, Marie Antoinette in I’m an Aristocrat, Get Me Out Of Here and Lotte in Grimm and Grimmer for Gonzo Moose Theatre, Scarlet in Robin Hood at Dukes Theatre Lancaster, Dandini in Cinderella and Aladdin in Abanazar Through The Looking Glass for The Theatre Chipping Norton, Hermaphrodite in The Games for Spike Theatre, Alice Woodman in Walking Through Windows with Liverpool Everyman/Playhouse and The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe at the Royal Lyceum, Edinburgh. In 2015, Lauren will be appearing in the feature film of Wall by David Hare produced by the National Theatre and the National Film Board of Canada. She works as a Composer for theatre companies across the UK and is writing and developing her musical comedy act Pure Joy. She is also an experienced Improviser, having performed in a number of 50 hour Improvised Soap Operas (Soapathons) in Canada, London and Liverpool.

NICHOLAS ANTHONY – Director

Nicholas Anthony is an Associate of Sixteenfeet and has been with the company since it’s first production in 2008. He continues to develop the artistic, educational and production sides of the company. Nicholas trained as a Director at Bristol Old Vic and is also a qualified teacher specialising in English, Classics and Theatre. Previously Nicholas has worked as an Events Director in both the UK and Australia with clients including Ch9; Sydney City Council; Governor General’s Office and Urban Splash UK. – Directing credits include: First Draft Writing Festival (Lambeth Festival) The Irresistible Rise of Arturo Ui (New Barn Theatre); Oedipus (Soho Studio); The Blue Room (Alma Bristol); Pericles (Arts Centre, Winchester); Ubu Roi (HMP Winchester) Radio: Interesting Times (Lemonseed Productions).
BRADLEY COLE – ADAPTER
Screen writing credits:Seed (BBC2); The Geeks (ITV); City Of Dreams (Bollywood). Theatre includes: Dundee, Stoke, Guildford, Edinburgh, Aldburgh and Southwold as well as appearing at The Orange Tree in Richmond and The Mermaid and Bloomsbury Theatres in London. International work includes: The English Theatre Frankfurt and, The Collector in Gothenburg‘s English Speaking Theatre. TV and Film includes: Casualty,The Bill, London’s Burning, Two point four children, Paris By Night, and most recently the lead role in the award winning UK feature Exhibit A directed by Dom Rotheroe.
LINDSAY HILL – DESIGNER
Canadian born and trained, Lindsay studied Theatre Design in the University of Victorias Theatre department before moving to London in 2006. She is thrilled to have the chance to collaborate with Sixteenfeet Productions on Alice. The past few years she has worked primarily with Michael Friend Productions on over 20 plays, most recent including Heartbreak House, Philanderer Improbable Fiction, Misaliance, Geneva & Duets for Two Hands (Shaws Corner/ Sarah Thorne Theatre). Other design credits include: Julia & Euleurs Circles (Constructive Interference) Augustina, Festevil, Backwoods, Animals & Sparks (Various companies, Short films), as well as several projects collaborating or Assisting fellow Designer Giulia Scrimieri.
SARAH RHODES-CANNINGS – STAGE MANAGER
After graduating over 10 years ago Sarah spent 2 years as Assistant Stage Manager at Queens Theatre Hornchurch working on numerous shows, before moving to Watford Palace Theatre where she spent a further 4 years working on various shows, in a variety of roles. After leaving Watford, She has worked on a number of shows including Yes Prime Minster at Trafalgar studio 1. UK tours of Bette and Joan and Never Forgot, A site specific piece for Headlong Theatre Company, as well as various Panto’s up and down the country including a Rock and Roll panto at the New Wolsey, Ipswich.
JENI WRIGHT – ASM
Jeni is currently studying Technical Theatre at Guildhall School Music and Drama, having just completed year one. Recent work includes: Being part of the video team to work at Glastonbury and Queens’ Secondary School Production of Hairspray. Jeni is looking to pursue a career in Production Management.
SAM DAWOOD – PRODUCTION ASSISTANT
Sam recently completed her Foundation Diploma in Performance Design and Practice at Central Saint Martins. She will commence her degree in Technical Arts and Special Effects at Wimbledon College of Arts in September. Sam hopes to work as a freelance artist/designer within the theatre and film industries.
LAUREN JACKSON – PRODUCTION ASSISTANT
Lauren has just finished her Art Foundation at Central Saint Martins and is continuing on to a BA at St Martins in September specialising in Performance Design and Practice. Lauren has recently worked with The Lyric Theatre Hammersmith, Grimm Productions, Punchdrunk and The National Youth Theatre and is interested in working in design within Theatre, Television and Film.
The Weather
Performances are never cancelled or abandoned before the advertised starting time and then only in the event of very bad weather. We will make every effort to complete the performance and reserve the right to stop and start the action as necessary. If cancellation or abandonment is unavoidable, ticket holders will be entitled to tickets for any other performance in the summer season subject to availability. There is no time limit on exchanging tickets, so long as you keep your original tickets. If you do not have physical tickets (i.e. booked on line and do not have the print out) contact us on info@sixteenfeet.co.uk and we will send you a credit voucher. These can be carried over from one year to another. You will also receive a complimentary programme at the performance you do attend. Refunds are not given for cancellation or abandonment as a result of the weather.
