Four West End singers presented a programme which, in line with the Festival theme, travelled from ‘the street where you live’ via ‘pure imagination ‘ to ‘Avenue Q’.

PAUL HAZEL
Originally from Sheffield, Paul trained at the renowned Italia Conti Academy of Performing Arts before embarking on a successful West End career.
West End credits include: Desperately Seeking Susan, Avenue Q, Dancing In The Streets, Grand Hotel, The Rat Pack Ain’t Misbehavin, Starlight Express, Five Guys Named Moe, The Lion King and YouCcan do it
Other stage performances in the UK internationally include, Carnaby Street the Musical ,Annie, Christmas Crooners, Sweet Charity, A Chorus Line, Blues in the Night, Legends Of Swing, Mas Caribe, and Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Nights Dream as well as Sandi Toksvigs Christmas Cracker at the Royal Festival Hall
TV appearances include: The Bill” (BBC), “The Richard Whiteley Show, Richard and Judy, and Blue Peter, radio credits include The Secret Tapes Of Murdoch Road and Which Way, Nowhere for BBC Radio).
Paul’s album The Unexpected Paul Hazelis available on Amazon and Itunes and is a collection of 12 original jazz songs. Cabaret performances include Ronnie Scott’s, The Pheasantry, Pizza on the park, Battersea Barge, The Dorchester and Grosvenor Hotel and the Cellar door.

JENNIFER RHODES
Prior to training at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Jennifer studied Drama at Royal Holloway College, London and Université François Rabelais, Tours.

HAMILTON SARGENT
Hamilton began his professional musical theatre training at the prestigious Laine Theatre Arts, where he studied for four years appearing in musicals such as ‘The Mikado’, ‘A Chorus Line’ and ‘A Little Night Music’.
International credits include: Beast/Prince in Beauty & The Beast – The Musical and Muddles in Snow White in Kuala Lumpar. In the UK Barnaby Tucker in ‘Hello Dolly!’ (alongside Anita Dobson and Darren Day) Dick Wilkins in ‘Scrooge’ starring Tommy Steele.
He recently played the title of roles in ‘Peter Pan’ (Theatre Royal, Lincoln) and ‘Aladdin’ (Kenneth More Theatre, Ilford), and created the role of Man 2 in the new Rodgers and Hart review – ‘With A Song In My Hart’ (Mill Studio Theatre, Guildford).
Hamilton is currently developing his second full length musical – ‘Devil’s Triangle’ as lyricist and writing his first novel – ‘Blackout’.
AMANDA POSENER
Amanda trained at Mountview Theatre School.
West End credits include: Avenue Q (Wyndhams) Denny Blood in Bad Girls The Musical (Garrick Theatre & West Yorkshire Playhouse), Dancing In The Streets (Playhouse Theatre), Caroline, Or Change (Royal National Theatre), Joanne and ‘Seasons’ soloist in Rent (Original London Cast, Shaftesbury Theatre), and The Camerawoman in 125th Street (Shaftesbury Theatre)
